Playful and delicate in detail, this grand tea set from Lenox makes for an enjoyable, intimate tea party. Soft-colored butterflies and flowers decorate white backgrounds on each piece, and the knobs on the lids for the teapot and sugar bowl feature pretty, sculpted butterflies that are easy to hold onto when lifting. The rims of each piece are an octagonal shaped, instead of purely round, giving the set a unique look. Perfect for service during a private conversation and beautiful in a glass hutch, this tea set is made for showing off. It's also highly functional. Gracefully curving handles give adequate finger room and a 48-ounce teapot contains plenty for an intimate gathering. If a guest is fashionably late, the pieces are safe for reheating in the microwave or conventional oven. Cleanup is easy, since all pieces are safe to put in the dishwasher, and the set comes backed by Lenox's lifetime replacement policy.

NOT DISHWASHER SAFE NO MATTER WHAT LENOX SAYS
This is a very pretty set and affordable BUT...BEWARE. Lenox says it is dishwasher safe. They lie. I put the pot in the diswasher to remove the tea stains(all alone on the top rack with reservations) It turns out I was right....The butterfly wings fell off from the dishwasher spray. It was not roughly handled or in a place that anything could have touched it but water. Lenox by the way DOES NOT warranty it for falling apart when used as instructed and stands by the "dishwasher safe" label. It will cost $30 to replace the pot under their 50% off breakage warranty and they won't sell you a lid only.
Tea for 2
The perfect tea set for Grandma and her favorite granddaughter. The cups are adult size, even Grandpa and Grandma could share this set. Using this lovely set brings to mind the outdoors and spring with no insects buzzing about.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND, if you're a tea drinker.
nice tea set
When I opened the box, my first impression was the tea pot is pretty big than I expected. You may fill at least 6-7 cups of water. The tea cups are the right size, though. Overall, I liked this tea sets.
