Amazon.com Review
The Livingware Memphis dining set creates a festive mood with a bold and vibrant color scheme based on primary colors. A complete service for four, each service includes a 10-1/4-inch dinner plate, a 6-3/4-inch bread plate, an 18-ounce soup/cereal bowl, and an 11-ounce mug. The plates are white and ringed with squares of red, yellow, green, and blue, creating eye-catching bands of color on the rims. The color scheme is further emphasized by the white bowls, which have a single blue band around the rim, and the solid blue mugs.

Made of Corelle's Vitrelle triple-layered glass, the pieces are safe for use in the microwave, oven, and dishwasher. The manufacturer warranty covers cracks, breaks, chips, or stains for three years from the date of purchase. Buy this as a stand-alone set or coordinate with other items from the Country Cottage pattern for a kitchen full of relaxing rural dreams. --Jeff Dalto

Customer Reviews

I like the pattern...but it is not as bright as pictured...
If it was just the picture on the website, I might think it was just my computer screen. However, the box also shows a very bright blue mug and the colors in the plate too. When the box is opened, I found a lighter blue...not primary bright blue, more like a Williamsburg Blue. It is still pretty but not what I really wanted. The other colors are the same way...pictured as very bright but muted out of the box.

Another deceptive thing to note on the picture. It appears that the smaller plate is almost as big as the dinner plate. It is described as a salad plate...it is a bread and butter sized plate. I am not impressed with that. That being said the detailed description does state the correct dimensions of that plate. In a typical family-style dinner I really have no use for it. I would like a larger salad plate that is just the right size for the kids.

As others posted, I too wish the Memphis pattern would also be on the other complementary tableware. Lighter color issues aside I do like the pattern. I would only suggest that when one makes a purchase you realize the picture is only slightly deceptive.

I do like the Corelle name of products. With my kids learning how to set a table, I need something a little more durable. This will do nicely until they are old enough to be able to deal with china.

Durable, easy to wash
Pieces are thin and fit easily in dishwasher - jets can reach all surfaces, even bowls stacked next to each other in rack. If dropped, they stand a chance of survival. Great value and I dig the pattern.

Great Mother's Day gift
In CR we celebrate Mother's Day on August 15th.

My mother wanted to have Corelle dinnerware in her beach house, mainly for being safe and light-weighted for her grandchildren to handle.
You can imagine little wet hands and feet in the kitchen looking for something to eat and taking plates full of fruits and cookies.
She is delighted with the pattern too.
